Social and Environmental Justice
Bluestem Community is committed to addressing issues of social and environmental justice in our congregation and with those who venture onto the land for services, events, and burials. We pledge to protect access for all, regardless of wealth, health, privilege, or opportunity, at the forefront of our faith mission. This includes making Bluestem a place where we recognize and address the disproportionate impact of environmental hazards on people of color, the mobility affected, and others whose access has been historically limited. We strive to find creative and effective ways to open access to spiritual practice in nature for all.
InclusivityMembership is open to individuals of any gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, race, nationality, disability status, educational background or income, and family structure.
